Seven Things Bigger than Pluto Part 7
Writing, Running, and Ragging on Pluto
While I started this with the punchline I will end with the hammer.

Today’s thing that is bigger than Pluto is The Moon!
Yes, our Moon! This is the most important one to me. If you swapped Pluto and our Moon, our Moon would have a much better case to be called a Planet.
Our Moon marks the fourth different planet that has a moon bigger than Pluto. Yeah, Saturn, Earth, Jupiter, and Neptune all have moons bigger than Pluto. This is significant because it shows that this issue not an isolated incident. We are not just discussing Eris and Charon. It is not just the Galilean Moons. It is four different planets on top of the issues with Eris and Charon. Both of this issues are beyond the scope of this gag, but they were what really got Pluto kicked out of the Planet Club.
Our Moon is much larger than we realize, too. Sure it dominates our night sky like no other moon in the solar system does to it’s planet. I have pushed hard on the issue of Pluto an Charon being a binary system. Because it is. We come close. If Earth was any smaller or the Moon any bigger then that would be us.
Ultimately, the size is not the main issue with Pluto’s status as a dwarf planet, but it is worth mentioning because it is an issue. A secondary issue that strong is something you can’t ignore. It is also a reminder that their might be other Trans-Neptunian Objects or Kuiper Belt Objects bigger than Pluto. And if that happens, there is nothing left for the Pluto-stans.
This has been fun, but if bullying wasn’t fun, people wouldn’t do it. I am being honest when I talk about the binary planet system. We should look forward with Pluto and not backward. If you want Pluto, you have to embrace Charon.
